The name Wayfarer symbolizes that we are all people on different journeys, united by a shared search. The interior reflects this symbolic path: the journey begins at the take-away area, where visitors can grab a croissant or choux bun with a coffee — representing the first step toward awareness and discovery. The central element is a tree, symbolizing enlightenment and meaning. The traveler then moves past the window seating — a space for calm conversations and rest.

The elongated rectangular space is organized along a central axis. To the left of the entrance, there is terrace-style seating by the windows, leading into a deeper area lit with soft, outdoor-like lighting, creating a natural light effect. The main zone with the tree transitions into a corridor leading to the restrooms, where tall columns and lighting effects evoke a sense of forest and depth.

Materials are carefully chosen to reflect the symbolism of the path: hand-applied grey plaster represents the imperfection of each step. Light wood is used in the seating area to bring warmth, while darker wood defines a space for long conversations. The take-away area is finished in warm brown tones, emphasizing the brief nature of the stop.

The interior emphasizes orthostatic design, guided by a luminous line made of glowing metal pipes. These light lines begin at the bar counter, leading guests toward the central tree and beyond, symbolizing movement and exploration. Wayfarer is a place where anyone can find a brief pause or a space for unhurried conversation with a new friend or partner.
